Practice Management on Embodia - Part 3: Billing
Managing plans and invoices to HCAI requires a 'Managing patient invoices' permission on your account. You can check with the Clinic Manager to see if you have such permission.
For OCF 21B and OCF 21C invoices, from the invoice page, you can see the Embodia patient invoices connected to the HCAI invoice (connected using the steps outlined in the previous article, Connecting HCAI plans and invoices to invoices on Embodia):
When you receive a payment from HCAI, click on the Add payment button. In the popup form, enter the payment date, subtotal, and taxes,
If you want Embodia to automatically try to add payments to the associated patient invoices, check the "Try to associate this payment with patient invoices on Embodia" checkbox.
If you prefer to manually connect the payment received to patient invoices on Embodia, go to the patient invoice in question, and click on Add a payment:
In the popup form, select the desired payment under the HCAI payment field:
